The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the online counselling programme for the Bihar UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round. The last date for online registration is now October 24, 2026, up to 10:00 PM. Choice filling, editing and locking can be done up to October 25, 2026, 11:59 PM.
The extension applies to UGMAC counselling for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. seats. These seats are in government medical, dental and veterinary colleges, the college of fisheries, and private medical and dental colleges of Bihar. The board issued the notice under Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/16, in continuation of Adv. Nos. 2026/14 and 2026/15.
Why Was the Schedule Extended?
BCECEB said it received complaints from candidates about server and technical issues. Because of these problems, candidates could not submit their consent and choice filling for the stray vacancy round within the scheduled dates. The board extended the programme in the interest of candidates.

What Candidates Should Do
- Candidates who have not registered yet must register and pay the application fee by the deadline on October 24.
- Candidates who have already submitted the application form must give their consent, with payment if any, by 11:59 PM on October 24.
- Candidates can edit their application data until the same deadline.
- All choices must be filled and locked by 11:59 PM on October 25.
- Allotted candidates should download the provisional seat allotment order between October 27 and October 29.
- Document verification and admission must be completed on October 28 and 29.
The board has stated that all other terms and conditions for the stray vacancy round remain the same as in Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14 dated 18.10.2026. Candidates should read that notice for the full eligibility and counselling rules.
