Patna Hotel Hidden Villa Employee Breaks Into Student’s Room at Night, Hotel Sealed and Three Arrested

A polytechnic aspirant from Begusarai narrowly escaped an assault in the middle of the night at a Rupaspur hotel. Her father's quick action and a phone call to 112 - triggered a police crackdown that exposed a web of illegalities inside the unlicensed establishment.

Patna Hotel Hidden Villa Case: A female polytechnic examination aspirant, a resident of Begusarai, had travelled to Patna with her father and checked into Hotel Hidden Villa, located at RPS More in the Rupaspur area. The two were staying in Room No. 103 when, at approximately 12:48 AM on 24 May, a hotel employee identified as Satyendra barged into the room and attempted to forcefully pull the student.

The father woke up and immediately resisted the attack. He began recording the incident on his mobile phone, which caused the accused to flee. The father then called a relative in Patna and dialled emergency number 112. Police reached the spot by 1:15 AM.

Hotel Management Threatened the Victims

When the hotel management came to know that the father had called the police, the hotel owner and staff openly threatened the victim’s family rather than cooperating with them.

What Police Found Inside

A search of the premises revealed alcohol bottles and aphrodisiacs, pointing to illegal activities being run from the hotel. Several young men and two women from West Bengal were also staying at the hotel at the time, with an illegal liquor party reportedly underway on the premises.

Regulatory Failures Exposed

Investigators found serious lapses at Hotel Hidden Villa. Despite being located barely half a kilometre from the Rupaspur police station, the hotel was operating without an official safety and security audit and was completely unlisted in the local police registry.

The hotel’s CCTV cameras were deliberately switched off on the night of the incident. Police stated this was a pre-planned act to destroy evidence.

Arrests and Case Registered

The primary accused, Satyendra, was arrested shortly after police arrived. Subsequently, hotel manager Rohit and staff member Kaju were also arrested in connection with the case. Rupaspur Police Station In-charge Shashi Bhushan Singh confirmed that Case No. 378/26 has been registered. Hotel Hidden Villa has been sealed by Patna Police.
