Mizoram Releases Second Provisional Merit List for NEET UG 2026

The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (Technical Wing), Government of Mizoram, has released the Second Provisional Merit List for NEET UG 2026 for candidates seeking admission under the state quota, irrespective of category.

According to an official order issued by the Directorate, the list has been compiled on the basis of NEET UG 2026 scorecards submitted by candidates and is meant to help aspirants gauge their relative standing before staking their claim to seats reserved for Mizoram under the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

Courses Covered Under the Merit List

Medical Lead

Medical Admission 2026: Cutoff, Fees, Seats etc.

The state quota seats covered under this merit list span six professional courses:

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
  • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
  • BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
  • B.V.Sc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry)
  • BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

Purpose of the Provisional List

Officials said the ranking exercise gives candidates clarity on where they stand relative to other applicants from the state before the counselling and final seat allotment process begins. Candidates who spot discrepancies in their scorecard details are typically given a window to raise objections before a list is finalised.

Where Aspirants Can Check Their Rank

The merit list is being hosted on the official website of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Mizoram. Candidates have been advised to visit the site and search using their roll number or name to check their rank and standing.

Order Issued By

The order carries the signature of Er. K. Zodingliana, Joint Director (Technical), Higher & Technical Education, Mizoram, and has been circulated to the offices of the Minister and the Commissioner & Secretary for Higher & Technical Education, along with the Director and other senior officials of the department.
