Bodh Gaya: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya celebrated a significant milestone as India Post released a special commemorative envelope marking the institute’s 10 years of excellence during BODHIPEX-2026, the Department of Posts’ district-level stamp exhibition held in Gayaji.
The special cover release highlights the institute’s decade-long journey from a modest founding batch to an emerging national centre of management education, contributing to academic growth and capacity-building in Bihar.
Over the past ten years, IIM Bodh Gaya has expanded from an inaugural batch of around 30 students to a vibrant academic community of more than 1,600 students representing over 280 cities across India. This growth reflects the institute’s increasing national character and its role in reshaping the management education landscape in the state.
The institute currently offers a diverse range of programmes, including MBA, MBA in Digital Business Management (MBA-DBM), MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM), the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), PhD, and Executive MBA, catering to learners at different stages of their professional journeys.
Contribution to Capacity-Building and Governance
Beyond academics, IIM Bodh Gaya has extended its impact through Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and initiatives like the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Programme (CMFS), strengthening governance and public service capacity in Bihar. The institute has also conducted training programmes for the Bihar Police Academy and engaged officers and officials across the state to enhance leadership and administrative capabilities.
In addition, the institute delivers specialised executive education programmes, including global MDPs such as Leadership in a VUCA World, and hosts platforms like the International Research Conference on Mindfulness (IRCM), promoting dialogue on leadership, well-being, and modern management practices.
