Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Schedule Revised, Choice Filling Extended to August 25

The Office of the Chairman, NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counselling Board 2026, Government of Rajasthan, has issued a notification revising the Round 1 schedule for NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) Counselling 2026 in the state. The notification, dated August 20, 2026, was released by the board headquartered at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, in line with the state counselling schedule announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

According to the revised timeline, the last date for submitting Part 2 of the online application form has been extended to August 21, 2026 (8:00 PM). Registration and fee deposition, along with Part 1 submission, are already complete as per the earlier schedule.

  • Revised provisional merit list and PwBD/PwD, Defence/Para Military, NRI candidate lists: August 22, 2026
  • Certificate verification (Defence/Para Military/NRI) at SMS Medical College: August 24, 2026, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (already-verified candidates need not appear again)
  • Revised provisional merit list publication: August 24, 2026 (midnight)
  • Security deposit and choice filling window: August 14 to August 25, 2026, with auto-locking of choices at 11:55 PM on August 25
  • Round 1 allotment result: August 29, 2026
  • Reporting and document submission at the allotted college: August 30 to September 5, 2026
  • Academic session commencement: September 8, 2026

The board has reiterated that candidates must complete both parts of the application form as a mandatory step for further processing, and has advised aspirants to regularly check the official websites — medicaleducation.rajasthan.gov.in and ug.neetrajasthan.com — for updates.

Security deposit amounts vary by category and seat type, ranging from ₹50,000 for UR/EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates opting for government seats, up to ₹5,00,000 for NRI and private medical college seats.
