MP NEET UG counselling 2026 Round 1 merit list: how to check
Candidates can access the merit list directly on the DME MP portal. Log in with your NEET UG 2026 roll number and registered mobile number to verify your rank and eligibility status.
- Visit dme.mponline.gov.in
- Click on ‘NEET UG Counselling 2026’
- Select ‘Round 1 Merit List’
- Enter your roll number and date of birth to view your entry
Choice filling is open – don’t wait on this
Choice filling and locking is the step where your seat is effectively decided, so sequence and priority matter. Candidates should research college and course options before entering preferences – a rushed choice list is one of the most common reasons for a poor allotment.
- Log in to the portal and navigate to ‘Choice Filling’
- Add and arrange preferred colleges and courses in order of priority
- Lock choices before the deadline – an unlocked list is treated as final in its last saved state, which may not reflect your actual preference
DME MP has not yet published the exact closing deadline for choice filling in the available notice; candidates should monitor the portal and any official notifications closely to avoid missing the window.
Documents to keep ready

Q: I’m from a reserved category – is the Round 1 merit list category-wise or combined?
DME MP typically releases both an overall and category-wise merit list. Check both columns on the portal to confirm your standing under your applicable category.
