Walk-In Interview Schedule
Interviews will be held at the Administrative Building, Wagon Repair Workshop, Autonagar, Vadlapudi, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Registration is strictly between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the respective dates.

Salary (Remuneration)
Consolidated monthly pay includes Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance, and Mobile Allowance. An annual increment of 4% is applicable on completion of each year, subject to KRCL’s discretion.

Additional benefits include insurance, gratuity and bonus under applicable labour codes, TA for official duty travel, complementary railway pass on duty, and 15 days earned leave per six months (plus 8 casual leaves per year).
Selection Process
- Preliminary Document Screening — Applications and certificates verified on the day of walk-in.
- Elimination Round (if applicable) — Group Discussion or Written Test may be conducted if the number of candidates is large.
- Interview — By a KRCL-nominated committee; merit list prepared based on performance, qualifications, and post-qualification experience.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview. Candidates should be prepared to stay for a minimum of two days at their own expense, if required.

There is no online application process. Eligible candidates must:
- Download the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) from konkanrailway.com under Recruitment > Current Notifications.
- Fill in the form completely and legibly.
- Arrive at the venue on the date specified for their post and register between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Documents to carry (originals + self-attested copies):
- Educational qualification certificates
- Date of Birth proof (SSLC/SSC/Birth Certificate)
- Caste certificate (if applicable; OBC-NCL in Central Government format)
- Ex-Servicemen certificate (if applicable)
- Experience certificate from previous employer(s)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Character certificate from a Gazetted/Executive Officer
Important Points to Note
- This is a contractual engagement only — it does not lead to regular or permanent absorption in KRCL.
- Selected candidates must be able to join within 30 days of the offer letter.
- An indemnity bond of ₹50,000 on ₹100 stamp paper must be executed before joining.
- Candidates may be posted or transferred anywhere within KRCL during the contract period.
- The contract can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice, or immediately for unsatisfactory performance.
- No accommodation or food/mess allowance will be provided.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
- KRCL reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process without prior notice.
